Mom on the Run

I remember, when I was a kid, my mom had a hard time convincing me to eat fruits and vegetables. As a kid, I have always been a junk foods and soda fanatic. But while I was growing up, went into school and got exposed into different teachings and information, I soon then realize that natural foods especially fruits and vegetables are vital to our health.

Natural foods contain the purest of vitamins and fibers that aid in the better digestion and absorption of food. Now, I am starting the training for my toddler for her to get used to eating fruits and vegetables. It's just normal for a kid to react badly on bitter vegetables. It's just a matter of making it a habit until later on your kid will realize that it's not that strange-tasting anyway.

It's always golden to immerse your kid into healthy intakes because it's in the toddler stage that they develop all other important aspects of their being.

Birthday parties are every kid's favorite occasion. Children easily get frenzied by parlor games, clown performances and the many different activities joined by all other kids in the party.

A few weeks ago, one of my friend's son celebrated his first birthday. It was all fun especially to kids while they are watching the magic and balloon tricks by the clown performers. The food was so delicious and I was thinking if it came from heaven (laughs).

I had fun watching the kids play so I took some photographs as a souvenir. I am not actually good in photography but my husband owns a DSLR so I decided to bring it with me and cover the party.

We just got home from shopping. My baby and I had a little bonding moment awhile ago at the mall since I don't have anything to do at home. I brought baby Avril at Marquee Mall and I let her stroll around the activity area and mingle with kids.

Avril enjoys socializing with other kids. Exposing the child to different people and surrounding is very helpful in helping them develop their emotional growth especially their sense of sensitivity to others' feelings. Research proves that kids who are more exposed to the outside environment and people are less likely to undergo stress and fatigue.

Hi there. How have you all been doing? It's been quite a while since I last updated this blog and now, I am back again in the blogosphere. Just want to wish you all a happy new year. I hope all you fulfill all your endeavors this 2010.

As for me, me and my family have been doing pretty fine especially during the holidays. We spent time traveling and visiting our relatives in the provinces.

I am excited to be back again here in my blog. I will start updating it again regularly. I hope to hear from you guys, especially to my mom friends. Have a great year ahead.

I am a nature lover. I drew daily inspiration from the plants around the house and animals that I have in the backyard. I visit botanical gardens and parks frequently and make sure that I participate in causes that aims to protect the environment. By doing so, I feel like it relieves me of stresses that tends to build up over time due to work and family relationship (argh!). I always take photos of trees and mountains. Its one of my favorite subjects in photography.

Aside from nature, I also love to take pictures of my only angel, Avril. I know that it’s not new to you, for she is always here posted on my blog (smiles). I hope it’s not that obvious. LOL! Okay, I don't want this post to be so long as I would just like to share with you some of my nature shots. Actually it’s not all trees. I added some shots of clouds. Hope you like it as much as I do.
